The techniques you will learn in this course will empower you to create experiences that will not only strengthen the 6 c's in your students, but also help them to develop strong minds, and enhance their cooperative learning and 21st Century skills.
The key purpose of educational institutions is to prepare children for their future jobs. However, the problem educational institutions are facing is that the future of today’s children can be so unpredictable and the jobs of tomorrow are still being created. Students will be required to be creative and have problem-solving skills to be able to adapt to these constant changes. The skills that will be necessary for future employment cannot be evaluated by standardized tests and they are not yet being part of the curriculum. That’s why teachers need to foster new skills in the classrooms, and that is what this course provides.
The course includes a variety of strategies to work on: critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, citizenship/culture and character education/connectivity. During the development of the course, we will work collaboratively on some very useful practical activities that can be implemented in your classroom. In addition, you will explore some great learning ideas that have already been put into practice!
The main course objective is to deeply learn and develop the 6 c’s in the classroom, as well as, to build up a strong foundation to implement project based learning in the future. The course material has been improved and adapted to be taught in different languages, environments, and educational systems. Participants are expected to have at least B1 level of English.
METHODOLOGY
The 6 c’s course will have daily motivational activities, brainstorming, working in pairs and groups, simulations and networking, not only in the classroom but also in outdoor activities. The course has been structured on practical, funny and very stimulating activities, so that participants can put into action the acquired knowledge.
The course will transform every teacher to guide their students into becoming competent citizens. It will have lectures, seminars, workshops, and daily assignment support to ensure full comprehension of the content of the course. In addition, participants will work to create and share a large number of documents that will become the basis of their course materials. Using these materials, teachers will be able to successfully implement this new methodology in fun and interesting ways with their pupils, inside and outside of the classroom.
Our experienced trainers will support and stimulate the networking and cooperation among participants. We organize networking and cultural activities in order to give participants the opportunity to exchange best-practices and establish professional cooperation and links. These activities will include not only participants of this course but also other participants from different courses of PMS ERASMUS PLUS. You will have the opportunity to engage in professional networking and cooperation with other PMS ERASMUS PLUS participants also.
At the end of the course, the company will provide the participants an attendance certificate including detailed information about the course, e.g. title, program and schedule. In addition, a Europass Mobility Certificate can be added on request.
