AI IN THE CLASSROOM:

EMPOWERING 21ST CENTURY EDUCATORS.

COURSE INFORMATION

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a distant future: it is now an essential part of our educational landscape. This Erasmus+ training course offers a dynamic, hands-on journey through the world of AI in education. Participants will explore cutting-edge tools and techniques to create interactive, personalized and inclusive learning experiences, transforming the classroom into a smarter, more creative space.

This course is not just about learning new digital tools—it's about rethinking pedagogy and unlocking the power of AI to empower both educators and students. This innovative training course introduces teachers to the practical use of AI in educational settings. Participants will explore how AI can be used to transform learning environments, personalize teaching, and save time on lesson planning and content creation. Through guided sessions, participants will discover a wide range of user-friendly AI tools that are accessible to educators without technical knowledge.

The course covers key AI applications: powerful chatbots, interactive presentations, real-time Q&A, image and video generation, gamification, lesson planning, audio and music creation, digital storytelling, and assessment tools.  It includes AI ethics, plagiarism detection, and how to teach students to use AI responsibly. Teachers will leave with ready-to-use ideas, AI-generated resources, and a clear understanding of how to apply them ethically and creatively in their classrooms.

“AI in the classroom” course is aimed for teachers and school staff from pre-school level to primary, secondary, vocational, adult and special needs education, staff of non-government organizations, government and policy makers and company staff. Non-native English trainers expecting participants to have at least B1 level of English proficiency.

METHODOLOGY

This training course follows a hands-on, practice-oriented methodology focused on the experiential learning cycle. Teachers will:

·       Explore various AI tools through guided demonstrations

·       Work in pairs or small groups to create real classroom materials

·       Share experiences and reflect on potential uses and challenges

·       Engage in discussions, collaborative tasks, and gamified activities

·       Build a resource bank for classroom use

Each session combines theoretical background, practical application, and collaborative creation. Participants will leave with concrete, adaptable materials and new digital skills.

Our experienced trainers will support and stimulate networking and cooperation among participants. We organize networking, cultural, sport, and historical activities to give participants the opportunity to exchange best practices and establish professional cooperation and links.

These activities are an excellent example of how to organize activities in a possible future KA2 project. Not only the course participants but also other participants from different courses offered by the company will take part in these activities. The expected training activity has been structured so that participants can transfer knowledge and develop the necessary skills once they return to their schools with their own students.

In the end of the course, the company will provide the participants an attendance certificate including the detailed information about the course, e.g. title, programme and schedule. In addition, a Europass Mobility Certificate can be added on request.
